Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Web Design Process work?
Here is a brief overview:
**Download, fill out, and email or fax the Project Guideline Form to me to schedule a Initial Free Consult.
1. Initial Free Consultation- we look at your purpose, your goals and your budget. Once I have a clear understanding of what size site you desire (how many pages), I can provide you with an estimate for services. If you are happy with the estimate, we will generate a formal Web design proposal & contract for your review and approval.
**I receive your 50% deposit to secure your account & the filled out proposal & contract. Then we move on to...
2. Second Consultation- a detailed interview of your creative preferences and desires for the layout, look, and functionality of your website. I go over the Project Guidelines Form that you sent me in detail, and dive deeper into what you wants and needs are. What colors do you like? Where do you want the buttons on the site to go? Etc.
3. Design Approval- I show you the layout that has been created for your site! Approve it and we immediately move forward, or use your 3 structural revision credits to sculpt it to meet your preferences. Once the layout has been approved, I finish the site!
**Remaining balance on your account must be paid in full before the Coding Step.
4. HTML Coding & Perfecting- I intricately design and code each page of your site, including keywords and linking techniques for search engine optimization. We are almost done!
5. Publishing Your Site- Using the Hosting and Domain information that I obtained from you (look at the Project Guidelines) I publish your site, and in addition submit your web page to the most widely used search engines for optimization.

What are 'Structural Revisions?'
Structural Revisions are credits that are available to you in the event that you want to revise or further sculpt your site during the Design Approval Phase. Here you are able to revise the layout of the pictures, buttons, headings, color scheme, etc.
-
Why only 3 structural revisions to my site? What if I do not like my site?
I created a detailed & thorough process (separated into the above phases) to ensure the proper environment and time for the client to delineate, discover, and communicate what type of site they want. That is why the Project Guidelines and the Consultations are important. It is the responsiblity of the client to communicate to the designer what they want beforehand. It is this vital time management that allows Natalia Web Design rates to stay affordable, and to allow my business to run smoothly.
-
What if I want to make changes or add to my site once it is done?
After your site has been completed, any other work you want done is billed under maintenance fees. Any work that Natalia Web Design does, whether it is adding or deleting text, adding more pages or images, is all billed per hour. Take a look at the rates page for more information.
-
How long will it take to design my site?
The length of the design process is dependant upon many factors, including by not limited to, the size and complexity of the site, the amount of revisions requested, the speed of which content and payment is received, holidays, etc. On average a 7 page site can take anywhere from 7-15 business days, with the most time allotted between the Second Consultation and the Design Approval Phase.
-
Do you redesign sites?
Absolutely. The rates are the same for redesigning a site as initially designing a website due to the same amount of design work. Click here for my web design rates. Redesigning may end up slightly cheaper if you end up using the same images/graphics that is already on your established site.
-
I live in another state, does that matter?
Absolutely not. We communicate by phone, fax, or email, which is means enough to provide an interface of clear communication.
-
I am interested, what do I do now?
Download, fill out, and email, fax, or snail mail the Project Guidelines Form back to me.
